AFWA Des Moines Chapter meets at various restaurants in the Metro on the third Tuesday of the month. Join us for networking, lunch and CPE programs. Members and guests can RSVP online with the form below.

Cost: $15 members and first-time guests $25 for recurring non-members (Payment in the form of cash or check will be due at the event)
Time: 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Please join us for our networking luncheon event as Kristi Knous presents “Culture is Key:  Strong Organizations Start with a Strong Foundation”.  An organization’s culture is its fabric.  Culture is woven in everything from how the phone is answered and how clients are greeted, to the structure of internal performance evaluation processes, to how the employee team is shown appreciation.  A strong foundational culture can be your most valued employee retention strategy.  Kristi will share fundamentals of building culture and concrete examples that you can put to use to improve culture and employee engagement at your organization or within your team.

Fire Creek Chicken Sandwich -grilled chicken breast topped with melted pepper jack cheese, bacon, and barbeque sauce, served open face on South Union focaccia

Veggie Grilled Cheese - portobello mushroom, avocado, provolone cheese, tomato, spinach, and onion, grilled between wheat bread

Gyro - gyro meat, tomato, red onion, romaine lettuce, feta cheese and tzatziki sauce wrapped in warm pita bread

Mesa Chicken Salad - chicken, roasted corn, black beans, tomato, red onion, and avocado with a side of chipotle-ranch dressing
